Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science

MIAMI →

Sitting on four acres within downtown Miami’s waterfront Museum Park, the 250,000-square-foot Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science divides into four distinct buildings: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, and the North and West Wings. This unique campus-like setting takes guests on a journey from the ocean to the Everglades, from the human cell to outer space, investigating life as we know it, and the process of science and innovation.

Visitors will be able to stand underneath a suspended, 500,000-gallon aquarium tank and gaze at hammerhead and tiger sharks, mahi mahi, devil rays and other creatures through a 60,000-pound oculus, a lens that will give the impression of seeing the fish from the bottom of a huge cocktail glass. And that’s just one of many attractions and exhibits.
